On your device

Your browser remembers your light or dark choice and that you've seen the tutorial. Neither is sent to us.

Hugging Face

Your browser loads datasets directly from Hugging Face, which sees your IP address and which datasets you view. Its own privacy policy applies.

Hosting

DataStumble is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles your IP address to deliver the site and keep it secure, under its privacy policy.

Reports

Report opens your own email app. If you send it, we use your address and message only to deal with the report.

Safety checks

Images and video are checked with vit-base-nsfw-detector by AdamCodd and nsfw_image_detection by Falconsai. These checks can miss things.

Icons and fonts

Icons adapted from Lucide (ISC licence). Text is set in Bricolage Grotesque, Atkinson Hyperlegible and JetBrains Mono (SIL Open Font Licence).

See the data, not just the name

Each stop is a dataset from Hugging Face, with its first rows on show: pictures, audio, chats, tables or text. DataStumble is an unofficial project, not made by Hugging Face.

Images and video get an automatic check for adult content, but it can miss things.

Stick to one kind of data

DataStumble starts on images. Choose another data type at the top, or all for everything, and your finds stick to it.
